Glampings in Suffolk

Glamping in Suffolk means shepherd's huts overlooking barley fields, bell tents in woodland clearings, and the occasional treehouse with a view of the Stour Valley. Most sites keep things deliberately simple — wood-fired hot tubs, firepits, and stargazing rather than screens and schedules.

The best sites cluster around the Heritage Coast (close to Dunwich Heath and RSPB Minsmere) and in the rolling countryside between Framlingham and Eye. Suffolk's dark skies make it genuine glamping territory — light pollution is low once you leave Ipswich, and on a clear night the Milky Way is visible from most rural sites.
