Authentic Stories from Diners
Parking nearby, it was only a short walk with reasonable disability access BUT very disability acceptance/understanding and customer care. The prices were competative and fair, however also worth it when you take into consideration the views, the location, the staff wages etc. The food and presentation was really spot on serving restaurant quality great tasting fish and chips. Plenty of seating available inside and out and dog friendly outside at least. A lovely atmosphere and customer experience.
We had a delicious lunch here, we highly recommend it. All excellent quality dishes, very generous portions. Absolutely impeccable, friendly service, we felt very welcome and comfortable here. Very clean and newly refurbished. A perfect spot.
Great spot, on the pier, overlooking the sea and waves breaking. Very nice food, prompt service, lovely staff. Plenty of free parking nearby. Seafood platter was great (scampi, goujons, whitebait, squid). Scampi & chips and fish goujon sandwich also recommended.
Had our lunch here which was fish and chips and mushy peas.it was absolutely delicious. The lady who served us was polite and extremely professional. Even the toilets were spotless. I would highly recommend the boardwalk to anyone who wants a lovely fish and chips lunch, with other delicious meals on offer.
Best turkey sandwich of my life included stuffing, cranberry and a pot of gravy. Absolutely outstanding on delicious granary bread.
