Super friendly pub. Excellent food. Best beer I've had for ages. Really nice place

Ate here 23 February 2026, having booked a table. We were warmly welcomed by our hosts, who were happy to lend a hand with my mother to navigate the step up to the family area, and park the four wheeled walker. The menu and special board is comprehensive without having too many choices. The food arrived piping hot, looking very tasty and did not disappoint. We had fish and chips, fish pie, and crispy southern fried chicken and coffee. Thank you to our hosts. Well deserved praise.

We had our Valentines meal here and it was delicious! We paid £10 each deposit to book a table. Plenty of Adnams options to drink. Cosy, warm, and small restaurant so advisable to book. Outdoor seating for when the sun comes out. Friendly staff.

We Are local to Southwold and we booked a table for Christmas eve..🎉🎄 We late afternoon and evening there had food in the restaurant and was absolutely fantastic Atmosphere was amazing , food was amazing , staff were very helpful, friendly and professional service Highly recommend

Food based pub with lots of adnams beers on tap Lovely food Good value food - had fish pie and pork belly. Quiet in restaurant area but fairly loud music in pub area. Outdoor seating next to road. Easy to book by phone even on bank holiday weekend.
