Great food, really high quality and very reasonably priced with decent sized portions. Have been a couple of times now and things have been consistently good. Friendly atmosphere with quick service. Yes it is a little off the beaten track and first time you’re sure you’re going the wrong way but it is well worth it. Very highly recommended.

I have had several breakfasts with friends and family in The Third Crossing (TTC) always great food and service and decided to try the restaurant for an evening meal. Let me start by saying the food and service was exceptional. The Scallops were cooked to perfection and were part of my seafood platter. Would love to have seen them as a starter as they would have sold 3 more portions with my guests. The steaks and sauces were again a different class, Peppercorn sauce with real peppercorns giving real bite to the sauce. Food to die for. The service was "just so", enough attentiveness without being annoying and the waiter made you feel special and enhanced the evening. I did mark down the atmosphere for a reason. I received a "fine dining" experience in a cafe environment. I was not surprised as I have had breakfasts but felt some minor changes could improve the environment and atmosphere. Number one: lower the lights! Put some fancy curtains up and some other soft furnishings to transform the cafe into a restaurant, it would not take much. That said I will be going back and without hesitation highly recommend TTC for seafood and steaks!

We had our Halloween here with our almost 2 year old and had a lovely lunch! Kelly the waitress was incredibly attentive and helpful and so so sweet, she couldn’t do enough for us and to keep our little one happy! Food was amazing, the chunky chips were definitely the best I have ever had! Can’t wait to come back in December!

1st time visiting this place .. Me and my 2 sons 19/22 Booked at short notice with Jane .. most helpful and accommodating … 1715 Saturday evening.. as fully booked for later .. BOOK EARLY … ! Restaurant is located in the marina.. Picturesque setting. Arrived and welcomed in by a very professional Front of House guy … shown to our table in a spacious room.. nice chilled decor.. Food outstanding.. highly recommend Pork belly and Squid starter … Both superb Paella, Stroganoff and Halibut mains followed.. presentation and taste .. Excellent. Choc brownie, Caramel cheesecake and I had .. Treacle tart with ice cream… awesome. Great… great … GREAT … Quality experience and reasonably priced Well Done 💯👌🏼

This is our first dinner of our trip to Norfolk and I’m glad that it was a great start. We all loved the scallops and the unique great taste of the pea puree was a big surprise! Lobsters were all cooked to perfect. Our server Aidan is a star! He was very attentive to our needs and his professional manner throughout the night made us feel like in a 5-star fine dinning restaurant. Will definitely recommend this restaurant and will come again in future.
