Authentic Stories from Diners
We went for lunch and they were very accommodating and friendly. We had a disabled person on a walking frame with us and it was easy for him to get in and out of the venue. They were able to offer me a good vegan option after I asked if I could have a particular starter as a main. The food and wine was very good and everyone enjoyed their meals.
We had a great meal here this afternoon. Both food and service was lovely.
We spent a lovely afternoon eating & drinking in the Bistro on the Quay, the food was delicious, excellent wine & exceptional service.
Food and service was excellent!!! We had dinner there, we really enjoyed the meal and we went back for lunch the next day. We had the raclette, and sirloin for 2 for dinner, which was cooked perfectly. And for lunch we had the white bait, fish and chip and avocado on toast. Portion was big and very reasonable price. A gem in Ipswich!!!
We came for a meal at Bistro on the Quay after a team event with a number of colleagues. The food was a 3-course set menu we had pre-ordered the week before. The service and food was exceptionally good, especially being served to a group of 17. I enjoyed squash soup, fish and chips and sticky toffee pudding but everyone was commenting on their own food as to how great it was. Service was prompt and polite and the staff were understanding when a number of people had to cancel courses to catch trains. Absolutely faultless and would definitely return given the chance.
