Café Bencotto

A lovely relaxed atmosphere. We enjoyed excellent food (spaghetti bolognese, pear & Gorgonzola salad, green beans). Mixed breads to start were divine. The service was friendly and attentive. All rounded off with a great choice of desserts (Greek yoghurt with baked rhubarb, ice cream was delicious and authentic flavour). Will definitely return and recommend.

Brillant, well priced Mediterranean restaurant located on the high street in Felixstowe. The humus Was really nice . We had pizzas which were nice too . Nice place for a family. The staff was super friendly. I would absolutely recommend going his place

It’s a bit on the pricey side. In the evenings the place can get quite noisy and busy, especially from Thursday to Saturday. Portions are generous, and overall the food is good — fairly rich, with quite a lot of fried options. That said, the chef is happy to adapt dishes to your preferences if you ask. They also offer gluten-free options and are very attentive when it comes to allergies — the staff are well trained and take this seriously. All in all, it’s a solid, decent place.

Very much enjoyed my first visit. Huevos estrellados was my choice from the brunch menu, accompanied by my usual oat milk cappuccino. The staff I spoke to were courteous and efficient. The meal was tasty and very reasonably priced. I look forward to calling again when I’m in Felixstowe.

I can’t say how amazing Louise and her team are! We hired the whole restaurant and held our wedding reception there on Sunday 19th October! The months of planning and choices all came together beautifully! 💕 The food was delicious and the team looked after us in every way with nothing being too much trouble all day! Thank you all at Bencotto for all you did before, during and after to make our day just that bit more wonderful! 💕 Jo & David
