Authentic Stories from Diners
Have wanted to try this place for a while, today we hadn’t booked but was able to get a table. It did not disappoint! Had Fish plate which was huge and more than enough for 2. Would highly recommend this little gem. All the food that we saw looked equally delicious. Look forward to visiting again soon.
An intimate and friendly place doing most things right. Deli by day and a restaurant serving well cooked fresh fish. Excellent oysters. Booking essential. It is just as good as the perhaps better-known competition.
What a fantastic spot. One of the first things we noticed when sat down were the amazing smells. Every time we saw someone else’s food brought to them we felt the need to say ooo that looks good. We had the fish platter and half a garlic lobster with fries and both were amazing. The staff were lovely as is the decor. Would highly recommend and definitely visit again.
A lovely little restaurant and yet, doesn’t feel crowded. The food was amazing and actually, one of the best fish & chips I ate in a very long time. The waiter said that the fish cooked fresh and not been frozen and you can tell. For any tourists that are coming from busy cities like London, be aware that it is a slow paste town and the service the same. We waited 20-30 minutes for fish and chips and even soft drinks take a while to arrive and that’s ok just aware of that. They also have a little seafood shop just nearby that we also bought few items and it was delicious. Highly recommended If you are not in a rush.
Service was good, seating outside with the sun shining down while eating amazing fresh food...large oysters, tasty prawns and sumptuous fish and chips! They had lovely SA white wine to pair with the food!
