Super friendly and lovely coffee and cake.
Cute little cafe, with great breakfast and lunch options. Popped in for brunch on Sunday. There is outdoor and indoor seating. I had the jacket potato tuna and cheese. The potato was lovely, wish there was a bit more tuna. My partner had the beef burger which he said was incredible. Overall the brunch was lovely and the coffee was sensational. Very competitively priced. With the jacket potato only costing £7.50. Would definitely visit again!
Munchies in Aldeburgh. So good! This is our breakfast spot whenever we come down to Aldeburgh; everything about the place is excellent. From the moment you arrive, you'll be greeted with an impressive selection of treats in the window (chocolate ring doughnut is our favourite). There's a load of seating in the back for when the Suffolk weather isn't cooperating - at the time of writing this review, we got fortunate and, for 30 minutes, were the only people in. However, with experience, this isn't always the case. It always stays calm, but it's certainly popular. Sometimes, during peak times, expect a tiny wait while the friendly staff clears the table. We've eaten many different things from the menu, but we went for a few veggie sausage baps and some beans on toast this time. The food came out quickly, piping hot, and was delicious! While we wait, you can enjoy the free WiFi, or if you're in the mood, do the old-fashioned thing and have a conversation. It's a great place to meet friends and family for a hot drink. I know this review sounds a bit one-sided, like, "Is there anything bad about Munchies?" well, not really. If you're being picky, you could argue that the shared parking (right out front) can get slightly chaotic occasionally, but that's not Munchie's fault. Honestly, the coffee is excellent, the staff (especially the owner) is fab, and the place is clean and cosy—a great place. Also, they're veggie/vegan-friendly, so extra points scored! We'll be back soon! Thanks!
A must visit!! I stopped here wanting a jacket potato. The staff here give 100%, very polite and very helpful. Had a great latte as I waited for the best jacket potato with a surprise big salad. Wasn't expecting so much for the price. Very tasty and filling. I will certainly make this a regular visit. It's great to visit somewhere with great service and food. I overheard other people praising the food. Front of house is take away but to the rear is seating. Very clean and comfortable. Thanks guys keep up the great work.
I love Munchies! ❤️ I am visiting from the states and have been in an Aldeburgh rental for almost 2 months. Munchies has been a lifesaver for the nights when I did not want to cook , the frozen takeaways are delicious and quick to reheat at home. And it's great that most are gluten free-read the label-! The bangers & mash, chickpea stew, beef ghoulash and chicken parm are delicious! going to try the cod & salmon soon. The staff is super friendly, the queues are quick, and it's also nice to dine inside and outside on the patio seating. and I love the jacket potatoes, husband loves the pastries, coffee and baps! the owner is lovely and present. really nice little cafe!
