The Bull Inn

The Bull is a historic coaching inn located in the center of Woodbridge. The property overlooks Market Hill with the Elizabethan Shire Hall and St Mary’s Church. The current building has been extended over the years and stands on the site of an older hostelry of the same name. The present building dates from the days when it served as a posting house for stagecoaches running from London to Great Yarmouth. Around the bar, parts of the original timber frame remain, possibly dating from the 15th century, like several other buildings around the market square.
