Bass Cottage is a compact, self-contained ground floor flat situated in a range of picturesque old boat yard buildings now converted into individual dwellings.

Bass Cottage is right on Bass's Dock in the centre of the small, thriving boat yard, and is within two minutes walk of the famous Tide Mill. The attractive riverside location features on many of the picture postcards of Woodbridge.

But it's not just a pretty picture! It is also conveniently close to the railway station, shopping centre, pubs, restaurants, cinema/theatre and the many facilities offered by the town.

The flat, which offers accommodation for not more than two persons, has an entrance lobby, one bedroom with a double bed, a comfortable sitting room with one very low ceiling (head-room under the lowest beam is about 5’5”), a good sized kitchen with dining area and a shower room with shower cubicle, wash basin and WC. To the rear of the property by the entrance door, is a small patio looking onto a traditional working boat yard, but there are many places to sit and enjoy the pleasant surroundings either along the river or in nearby parks. There is one allocated parking space beside Bass Cottage.

The household amenities include comfortable furniture, a double bed, a colour television, a telephone for incoming calls only, electric cooker, refrigerator, washing machine and microwave. Cooking, heating and water heating are by electricity. A duvet and pillows are provided but NOT sheets, pillowcases, towels or tea cloths. For visitors arriving by public transport or from abroad, bed linen and towels can be provided at a small cost but please remember to request these at the time of booking.

Small, very well behaved dogs (maximum two in number) are permitted, provided they kept under strict control at all times. Smoking is not forbidden but please try to indulge outside only.
