Daffodil and Bluebell are two farm buildings adjacent to the main farmhouse, that have been tastefully converted into interesting cosy self-catering accommodation, that have earned Quality in Tourism 4-star rating. The buildings retain their 'old farm' charm and character while being modern and sunny cottage and studio. No longer a working farm, Thatched Farm lies in open countryside just outside the main village of Waldringfield in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and is surrounded by fields, woods and footpaths.

Accommodation

• Set in the beautiful two-acre gardens of Thatched Farm
• Daffodil sleeps three/four, in one double bed and one single mezzanine bedroom.
• Bluebell is a Studio, sleeping two in a living/sleeping area.
• Together both cottages would be ideal for a party of four or five.
• Both cottages have a shower room
• Linen, towels, electric heating, are all included in the rental.
• Both cottages have ample parking space.
• Smoking is not permitted, except In garden only.
• No pets are allowed in cottages but they may stay outside and sleep in cart lodge.
• Thatched Farm self catering cottages are available all year
• Weeks start on Fridays.
• Tariffs: Daffodil £300 - £410 per week, Bluebell £250-£350 per week, self catering

   
A laundry room with washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board is on site.
Both cottages have free wireless internet access. Ample parking and secure cycle storage.

Bluebell sleeps two in one double bed.
Newly fitted shower room and newly fitted kitchen with oven, hob, fridge and microwave.The kitchen leads into the bed/sitting area with Digital TV and DVD player. French windows from the bed/sitting room look out over the garden. Photos below:

Daffodil cottage sleeps three plus a sofabed.
A sitting/dining room with TV and DVD player leads to the newly fitted kitchen with oven, hob, fridge and microwave. The shower room is adjacent to the kitchen. Upstairs is a pretty mezzanine bedroom with double bed. On the other side of the cottage a steep staircase leads to the single mezzanine bedroom. Photos below:

Whether you are a walker, cyclist, sailor, golfer, bird watchers or just anybody wishing to relax in the beautiful Suffolk countryside, the Cottages at Thatched Farm make an ideal retreat. Lying between Woodbridge and Waldringfield, near the River Deben, Thatched Farm is a few minutes drive from either. Thatched Farm is set in open countryside surrounded by fields, woods and footpaths.

Waldringfield has its own popular riverside pub and is within the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and is close to Newbourne Springs nature trail/reserve. While offering a rural retreat, Thatched Farm is within easy reach of many of Suffolk's natural and man-made attractions - Concerts at Snape, Framlingham an Orford Castles, the Victorian seaside town of Southwold, Sutton Hoo, historic Aldeburgh, bird-watching at RSPB Minsmere, and many nature trails and reserves.
