Locality
Thatched Farm is just outside the main village of Waldringfield, which lies on the southwest bank of the River Deben, a few miles from Woodbridge. Waldringfield has a popular riverside pub, is within the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and is close to Newbourne Springs nature trail/reserve. While offering a rural retreat, Thatched Farm is within easy reach of many of Suffolk's natural and man-made attractions - Concerts at Snape, Framlingham an Orford Castles, the Victorian seaside town of Southwold, Sutton Hoo, historic Aldeburgh, bird-watching at RSPB Minsmere, and many nature trails and reserves.
