Croft Farm provides sef catering accommodation in the heart of the Suffolk Heritage Coast. Situated in a very peaceful location the Farm is 15 minutes walk from the centre of Snape village and within one mile of the world renowned Snape Maltings Concert Hall. The two holiday cottages have been converted from traditional farm buildings to provide the perfect location for families and couples to enjoy the peaceful Suffolk countryside.

Snape village is 5 miles inland from Aldeburgh, a small, unspoilt but stylish town with a wonderful shingle beach. In addition to the concert hall and shopping complex, Snape offers a range of services including three pubs, a village store, post office, and petrol station with long opening hours.

Guests are welcome to enjoy the farmland and we have provided a circular walk giving access to the peaceful landscape surrounding the River Fromus, a small waterway which meanders it's way to the River Alde. The farm tracks link with public footpaths, allowing access in all directions, across scenic countryside, to places of local interest such as the famous Snape Maltings and River Alde, or towards Aldeburgh via the Sailor’s Path.

The Forge is a galleried studio cottage, recently completed to a very high standard, to provide spacious and well-appointed accommodation. It is ideal for couples or a small family group of two or three persons but the open galleried bedroom makes it less suitable for active toddlers!

The Forge has its own private garden and adjacent parking spaces and includes an open plan lounge/dining area with fully fitted kitchen and shower room on the ground floor.

Upstairs, the south facing gallery bedroom provides comfortable sleeping accommodation for two people, and the feature window provides an abundance of natural light.

Linen is provided and the cost of electricity and central heating is included in the rental, but please note that we operate a non-smoking policy in all areas of the accommodation.
