The Bell Hotel is a Grade II Listed Georgian hotel occupying a prominent position in the middle of the peaceful market town of Saxmundham, close to the Suffolk Heritage Coast. There are ten spacious and comfortable en suite guest bedrooms - all individually designed.

The award-winning Restaurant serves superb Modern British cuisine - distinctive Menus based on Traditional English and French cuisine, using fresh seasonal produce sourced locally. Menus change regularly (approximately every six weeks) and always include imaginative Vegetarian options.

Choose between the A La Carte Menu (prices from £5.95 - starters; £13.50 - main courses; £5.95 desserts), or the exceptional value of the Table D'Hote Menus (Luncheon - £12.95 for 2 courses, £15.95 for 3 courses; Dinner - £19.95 for 3 courses) and the Market Luncheon Menus (changes daily) - £7.50 for 2 courses, £10.00 for 3 courses.

The Public Bar serves a good selection of high quality and modestly-priced wines plus local Real Ales, including Adnams.

The Bell Hotel also has a comfortable coffee Lounge, a Courtyard outside for fine weather lunching or pre-dinner drinks.

The Bell is a family hotel, and children are made very welcome. Cots are available in the bedrooms, and highchairs are available in the Restaurant - at no extra charge.

The Bell Hotel is just four miles from Benjamin Britten's concert hall at Snape Maltings and eight miles from the popular seaside town of Aldeburgh, on the Suffolk Heritage Coast. Saxmundham is also within easy reach of the popular places of interest, including Southwold, Walberswick, Framlingham, Halesworth, Orford, Thorpeness, Woodbridge, etc. and there are several excellent golf courses nearby. RSPB Minsmere is six miles.
