The Jolly Farmers B & B is a substantial oak timbered former farmhouse and inn. Built in 1590 and Grade 2 listed, with landscaped gardens, we are nestled amongst hundreds of acres of farmland within a SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest).

The area and our gardens (!) attract an abundance of birds and wildlife, including our resident Tawny Owls, which from time to time nest in our owl box. While you are with us why not try our local nature walks or explore the area and scenery for yourself. There are Horses which graze on the adjacent 40-acre common between May and October, believed to be the only such common left in Suffolk.

The area is popular with antique hunters with shops in various villages and towns in the area and also weekly auctions at Diss.

We are situated near some of the best recommended country pubs and restaurants in Suffolk, including the Fox & Goose Inn, and many more. So if you appreciate fantastic food from some of the best chefs around and a pleasant atmosphere you have found the right place to visit!

We're close to the renowned Suffolk Heritage Coast and many other places of interest, including wildlife sanctuaries, such as RSPB Minsmere. There are transport and aviation museums as well as leisure pursuits such as golf and fishing within easy reach.
