Forrester’s Cottage has been completely refurbished to provide very attractive accommodation. The front door opens into the sitting room, with soft seating and a coffee table in front of an open fire, television, video and DVD, and a small library of videos, DVDs and books. The good-sized kitchen/diner has hand made units, butler sink, fridge with ice box, electric oven and hobs, microwave, dishwasher, CD/radio, table and chairs and ample cooking and dining facilites. Beyond the back lobby, is the bathroom with an electric shower over the bath, WC, wash basin and shaver socket.

Steep stairs lead to a landing with a double bed and far reaching views across meadows. Beyond the double room is a twin bedroom to the rear of the cottage with more rural views. Electric night storage heaters upstairs and downstairs.

At the rear, a five bar gate allows access to private parking in the garden, which is mainly grass, with outside table and chairs, and a lockable shed for bike storage.

Chillesford is about 3 miles from Orford and is the home of the popular Froize Inn. There are numerous walks and cycling routes to enjoy. Chillesford is ideally situated for the nearby forests, beaches at Aldeburgh and Thorpeness, Snape Maltings Concert Hall and Woodbridge. Chillesford is a rural retreat from which to explore and visit the many places of interest throughout Suffolk.
