Aldringham House and landscaped gardensParklands is a ground floor twin-bedroom apartment within a newly-restored Victorian country house set in three acres of grounds with specimen trees, well away from the road at the end of a long entrance drive, for a peaceful self catering holiday.

The property has important historical connections locally with the Garrett family and viewed from above is in the shape of a traction engine.  During the late 1950s to the early 1980s, Aldringham House was home to many USAF personnel.

The accommodation consists of

  • Large lounge/dining room with three piece suite, TV and VCR
  • Raised kitchen area with gas cooker,microwave,dishwasher,washer/dryer,built-in ironing board,radio.CD
  • Twin bedroom with fitted furniture,television,all linen provided.
  • Victorian style bathroom with slipper bath and shower over. Towels etc provided.

Parklands is within walking distance of excellent shopping facilities at Leiston, and Aldeburgh is two miles down the road. Minsmere Bird Reserve and Snape Maltings are about four miles away.
