Crabbe Cottage is a FLAT located to the first floor and is situated near the northern end of
Crabbe
Street. There is a view of the beach and sea (picture at the bottom of the page)
from the large verandah, partly shown in the forground of the picture above.
Lounge/dining room: A good sized room with sea views, easy chair and settee, coffee tables and lamps, colour television, radio/CD/cassette player, dining table and seating for four. French door onto verandah with garden chairs and table.
Kitchen: A modern fitted kitchen with a sea view. Electric hob and oven, fridge, dishwasher, washer/dryer, cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils and glassware. There is a breakfast bar and two stools.
Dressing room leading through from the bedroom. Bed settee, dressing table, airing cupboard.
Lobby - storage cupboard and window seat.
Bathroom: Luxury large bath, wash hand basin and WC, heated towel rail.
Heating by Night Storage heaters. Duvets are provided in this flat. Services included in rent.
No pets, No children under 10 years of age. No smoking
The flat is approached from Crabbe Street via its own private staircase.
Aldeburgh has a variety of shops including a supermarket, butchers, newsagents, banks, fish and chip shops, wine shop and various restaurants and public houses, where you can eat. Recreational facilities include sailing on the River Alde at Slaughden, golf courses in Aldebrugh and Thorpeness, the meare Boating Lake at Thorpeness, and tennis courts in Park road, Aldebrugh. There is also a swimming pool at the Leiston Sports Centre.
